Esmeralda Chavez

Esmeralda is a longtime Jerome resident who has been part of the community for more than 30 years and is actively involved in multiple organizations. She is a certified human resources professional (SHRM-CP) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boise State University. Esmeralda also volunteers with the SHRM Snake River and PSHRA Idaho chapters, serving on their boards and supporting HR professionals across the state.

An avid reader, she enjoys exploring all types of literature and has a passion for music, often spending time backstage or traveling with her husband’s band. She treasures spending time with her family, especially her three children.
